Zaanstad is a municipality in the province of North Holland in the Netherlands. It is known for its industrial heritage, traditional Dutch architecture, and picturesque windmills. The Zaanse Schans, a well-preserved historic village, is a popular tourist destination in the area. The city center of Zaanstad features colorful houses along the canals and a bustling marketplace. Other notable attractions include the Zaans Museum and the windmills at ‘De Zaanse Schans’. I did some biking and here are the results.
